I.   Do not focus on what is not there:

“Let your conversation (lifestyle) be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:”

II.   Focus instead on what & Who you DO HAVE: “and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee.”

A.      Focus on what you have: Phil. 4:13; Matt. 6:33

B.      Focus on Who you have: God will never leave us or forsake us!

III.  Find the courage you need to live a content life: vs. 6

A.      The basis of this “courage”: “The Lord is my Helper"

B.      The result: “I will not fear what man shall do unto me”
